woo!!! exams ended 2 weeks ago..haha..too busy to update recently..been busy relaxing..recently my baby intro mi a new taiwanese drama to watch, 敗犬女王..quite a nice show..those peeps with time to kill or like taiwanese drama..i recommend u to watch!!

the next good news..i will be going to taiwan tml!!!! 1 yr after the first trip with yong cheng, calvin & waikit..i'm returning to taiwan again!! this time around will be going with my baby..looking forward to my first trip with baby!!!

in need of a break after what have been a tiring first half of the yr..working plus studying..

will update more when i return from the trip!!! now it's time for non-stop fun, non-stop eating & non-stop shopping!!!!

hey guys!! been a long long long time since i last updated..been busy with work & study for the past few months..yes study! just taken up a part-time degree in jan..last time i respect those ppl that can work & study at the same time coz i tink is really very tiring and mind-taxing..here i am..doing the very thing that i have respected..

i'm not trying to say that i'm good in any sense..the point i trying to bring across is that under certain circumstances, u will be amazed at the things that u can do..things u nv thought u would be able to do in the past..

currently in the midst of having exams..it had been a long time since i last took exams..say 3-4 yrs back? wow..it's really fun being back to sch..getting to meet new ppl and having classmates that are fun & crazy to be with..shall update more after my exams..in the meantime..wish mi all the best! 1 more last paper to go!!

just removed my wisdom tooth ytd..quite painful but not as painful as last time though..my face abit swollen though..but looking at the bright side of it..i have 5 days mc! hoohoo!! can take this opportunity to take a break..looking forward to sch which is going to start in jan..

i just got myself a new hp! trade in my prada phone for the grey E71..totally cool phone! and to share with all of u..m1 have this service that actually deliver the phone and contract to ur hse for u to sign & at the same time u can also trade-in ur phone..this save the trouble of going all the way to the m1 shop to queue and squeeze with everybody..best of all the service is free!! u can just wait at home for ur new phone to arrive..cool uh..save transport cost and waiting time!

my singtel broadband contract is up and my dad sign a new 30-month contract which come with a new macbook! just have to pay $500 to upgrade to the new aluminium macbook..another cool fashion accessories..now i'm waiting for the arrival of my new laptop which i dunno will take how long to come..new phone & new laptop!

my dar is left with 1 last paper for her exams..looking forward to the end of her exams so that we can spend more time together and at the same time to go shopping! the festive season is nearing..have u got ur xmas present? =p

been sick since tuesday..been diagnosed by doc that i'm having something that is calling the muscus to flow backward instead of forward to the nose..causing the irritiation that i'm having ard the throat area..coz of this i have been given 2 days mc..today been the second day..feeling so much better compare to ytd..

dar came to my hse to acc mi the whole afternoon..knowing that i'm someone who hate boredom..thanks dar =)

hey hey..been a long long time since i last blog..guess my blog is starting to grow spider-web..haha..

life is so much different with my dar around..definitely been more lively and happier as each day passed by..finding every opportunity to meet her whenever possible..times seems to pass so fast with her around..

highlight of the month will be the inaugural singapore singtel formula 1 night race..is a totally different experience from the race in malaysia which i went one year ago..singapore race rocks!

finally it's have been confirmed that i'm not going to states in 2010..meaning i can study part-time! hoo..hoo..applied for rmit's econs & finance (part-time) on friday..now waiting to see whether i will be accepted *keeping finger cross*

dinner at indulgz was great! food was great..ambience was great..service was great..had "Chunky & Creamy Mushroom Soup", "Spicy Chicken Bolognaise Melted Cheese Fries", "Chef’s Crispy Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce", "Chicken & Mushroom Baked Carbonara" & "Strawberries & Cream Smoothie".

All of them are mouthwatering..just that we ordered too much creamy stuff so in the end i was struggling to finish..but is worth trying..so much food for abt $60 bucks..i tink is worth it but is up to u to decide..haha..those interested to know more abt the place can go to their website at http://www.indulgz.com/

haven been blogging recently..been busy with work..had gathering at jun's hse to celebrate national day on sat..dinner was great thanks to jun and her mum..pasta, tang hoon, fried dumpling, hotdog and swedish meatball! throughout the whole night we have been drinking..1 red wine, 1 white wine, 1 vodka, 1 barcardi and beers..woo..no 1 was drunk when i left early though..

2 great sunday ahead for mi and the goofballs..next week the guys from the clique less waikit will be running 21km together during the army half marathon..first time our clique doing something like this..the following sunday will be the smrt challenge..our team got selected for the smrt challenge 2008! woo..we have yet to come out with a team name but calvin, glenn, jun and me are definitely looking forward to it..haha..any suggestions for the team name?

just finish from a game of soccer..thrashed the opponent 7-0! outplayed, outclassed and outran them totally..1 assist & 2 goals for mi..not a bad return..wooo..but got a unexpected gift in return..feel damn tired but still have to work like in an hour time..sad..hope today will be a smooth day at work..

yesterday went riverside point indonesian restaurant to celebrate glenn's 22th birthday..dinner was good and cheap..bbq stingray, bbq fish, bbq squid, satay, sambal kangkong, fried beanburd..all the heaty stuff! starting to feel the sore throat coming..after dinner was time to "sabo" glenn..so we put the cake about 2 tables away from him and ask him to blow off the candles from where he was sitting..he damn poor thing..keep blowing til he start to sweat..he got quite a nice blowing face..haha! shall upload the pics next time around..waiting for the pics from lingjun..

after dinner we decide to try bowling again..was quite fun the other time around so decide to try it again..but the best part was the journey there..9 of us managed to squeeze into lingjun's toaster (her van's name)..i was the lucky one who drive so i dun have to squeeze at the back..it was super comical..7 ppl squeezing at the back..and when we stopped at traffic lights, all the car behind would keep a very safe distance from us..i tink they r all afraid the door might just give way and ppl start falling out on their car..haha..

bowling was fun la..esp when most of us sux at it..all the various method of throwing..i tink the best joke of the day was when it was yixuan's turn to bowl..her fingers got stuck in the bowling ball when she was about to release the ball..all of us are damn bad..all laughing loudly and no 1 offer to help her for a few seconds..been quite long since we had so much fun..it just feels like we r back to our teenagers times..having fun and creating havoc..how times had flies..more events will be coming up for the goofballs..stay tune!

just came back from hanging out with the glenn, calvin, lingjun, eileen & yongcheng..shopping in town wasn't fruitful for mi..life had nv been the same in terms of shopping since taiwan..nv really see anything i like..maybe shall wait for the next season of clothes to launch..

had dinner at far east's turkish restaurant..forget what is the name of the restaurant..the food there was alright..just tt i chewed til my jaws are tired and i'm still not done with the food..haha..too much meat i guess..definitely value for money..hangout at mt faber's "the hills"..the price of the drinks there are just as expensive as dempsey hills..

the joke of the day definitely belongs to eileen newly bought "table" from ikea..she bought a table from ikea but the piece of wood and legs doesn't come together and she have to pay extra for the "legs"! without the "legs",a table can nv be a table..will be just a piece of wood! is very amusing that such a thing is happening at ikea..damn stupid..so we bought the 4 "legs" required to transform a useless piece of wood into a table ..but after helping her carry the table back to her hse..she realised that the table require 5 legs! first time hearing a table require 5 legs..2 infront and 3 at the back..what a "award-winning design"! the best part is the sales person nv inform us that the table need 5 legs instead of 4 when we told him that we wanted to get 4 of the "legs" for the table..morale of the story..dun assume that a table have only 4 legs!

just back from bowling session with the goofballs..and i came to a conclusion..most of us sux at it! that explain y this is the first time we r playing bowling together since we know each other like 9 yrs ago..haha..watched dark knight with the guys in the afternoon followed by dinner at the golden mile steamboat..a treat for mi & yc from eric & waikit..this treat is a forfeit that we had when we played the euro fantasy soccer league last month..the 2 losers have to treat the 2 winners..mi and yong cheng emerged winners so we earn this treat..

met up with edward and helen on sat for korean dinner again at chinatown..felt damn bad coz i was super late..somehow after dinner i was feeling super tired so decided to head home..which is very unusual of mi to go home so early on a sat night..guess must be due to the sleep debt that i'm having..my eyes r looking more tired nowadays..

had dinner with my parents on fri night as it was my dad birthday..actually wanted to head to bras basah for jack's place but in the end we end up at 6th aveune..my dad recall that there used to have a jack's place but end up it was no longer there..so end up having "aston" for dinner..something similar to botak jones..which served restaurant-style western food in a food court..cheap and good..met up with rei later in the night to watch "wedding daze"..a very funny romance comedy..had supper at adam road after that..the funny thing is that i order a roti john to eat and rei told mi that she had nv seen a roti john before!

til today my stupid wisdom tooth is still causing mi alot of pain now and then..i'm running out of painkillers soon!

despite the pain..still had coca steamboat buffet ytd with cal in town..play guitarheros for the first time at cine..kinda get hooked on to it..maybe i'll end up buying the game for my ps3!

watched "wanted" after tt..tink the movie was kinda exaggerating with the curling of bullets and and hitting of bullets again each other..the best part was in the lift on the way down, there was this group of young teenagers talking behind us and this was their conversation..

teenager A: "how come the movie is rated NC16? also nothing much abt it"
teenager B: "maybe is coz got the full back view of angelina jolie when she walk out of the bath"
teenager A: "then how come the bullets can curl?"
teenager B(say confidently): "u swing ur gun harder jiu can curl le!"

calvin, yongcheng and mi heard this and we almost wanted to burst out into laughter! i guess he kinda tink that it is realistic..wait til he go NS and he will know the whole truth abt this!

ytd bought a new toy..ipod touch!! woo..bought it at the roadshow outside heerens..it was going at $473(original price is $498) and comes with a free jbl earphone worth $125..good deal uh..actually was comtemplating between the red ipod nano & ipod touch ..due to this good deal and the stylish design of ipod touch i decided to go with the latter..happy touching!

today is the day my bro went to tekong for the beginning of his national service life..went to play soccer today at turf club..the new kid in the block for astrofield soccer..not a bad place but i personally tink is abit out of the way though it is the closest place to town..dinner with edward and helen at crystal jade @ holland v before heading to dempsey hill's ben & jerry's to chill out..

i must honestly say that my extracted wisdom tooth is giving mi lotsa problems..today the pain was so unbearable tt it make mi wake up like 10am in the morning..and the pain is there throughout the whole day..the onli way to stop the pain is to continue to pop painkillers..hopefully this whole ordeal will be over soon..

had my 2 right wisdom tooth removed in the morning..a very very painful experience..after the whole minor operation..i can feel the pain on the right side of my face though it was numbed..and after which can feel the whole body sapped of energy..

the doctor who operate on mi is damn professional and nice..he will explain everything to mi when he was going to do coz he covered my whole face less the mouth area to do the operation so i can't see anything..so he will tell mi what he is going to do, what sound that i'll hear..and will keep apologising if i suddenly feel any pain..at the same time while operationing on mi, he was teaching another young doctor everything he was doing and all the small details that the young doc supposed to lookout for in the future..talking abt professional..but throughout the whole operation i can still feel quite quite a huge amount of pain despite the jab he gave earlier..i guess the pain i felt is not because he is not professional enought..is just that my wisdom tooth is too stubborn to come out..

i was supposed to book another appt after the operation..the clerk was telling mi "sorry sir, the earliest date i can give u is 1st sept." i was thinking to myself "huh..so soon ar" then i told him i wanted a later date..coz i wasn't ready to go thru this whole ordeal again so soon..

just woke up not long ago..not longer feeling the postoperative pain..but thanks to lingjun for the advice of putting a towel before slping..coz when i woke up..the towel was filled with blood and saliva..at the moment it like those marital art movie where u can beaten up badly and was literally vommitting blood..haha..

shall enjoy my mc now at the moment and take this time to rest well..hopefully there will not be anymore complication and definitely not looking forward to the next trip back there

garden of remembrance

every 1st sun of the month..the whole "teng" family will gather at the garden of remembrance at 5pm to visit our late grandmother & grandfather..this had been the tradition since my grandma passed away 2 yrs ago..the reason for this tradition is coz in the past when they r still around..we will always go to my uncle hse at ghim moh rd to visit them and they r the main reason y the whole family is so closely knitted despite the huge size..therefore even after they passed away, in order to maintain this close relationship that we shared, we came out with this traditional of meeting at the garden of remembrance..

kinda miss the dishes that my grandma used to cook..steamed minced pork with salted fish, small sized white fish (dunno wat is it called) and the "chai-po" egg..i can still remember eating at least 1 of the dishes every sunday when i visited her in the past..though i can still find all this dishes at teochew porridge stalls..the taste is never the same or close to what my grandma cooked..

just came back from chilling out with the goofballs at house @ dempsey hill and supper at adam road hawker centre..suppose to meeting them 9 plus at dempsey hill but end up onli reaching at 11 plus due to work commitment..been working since 2 this afternoon..so sorry guys..hang out again soon though

dinner at hongkong cafe on friday with my bro, edric, edward and helen..after that managed to watch hancock on fri with my bro and edward at shaw balastier due to seats being filled up fast at all the other popular cinema..i must say the movie was slightly over-rated..i personally tink it was quite a disappointment after all the hype abt this great show..but i tink if it wasn't for will smith..it would have been a flop by now..

wednesday night had korean food at chinatown thanks to the recommendation of edward & helen..first time having korean food..sound damn mountain tortoise right..coz in the past korean food doesn't really appeal to mi..but the experience changes everything..the food was damn nice..forget the name of the korean restaurant but i definitely know how to get there..anyone interested to go let mi know!!

wakeboarding overall was fun..in the end onli mi, glenn and yongcheng managed to stand up successfully on the board with yongcheng covering a great distance..althought each of us onli managed to have 20-25 min stint..it was already enough to make us tired..definitely is a sport worth trying..

after wakeboarding was my 22th birthday celebration at "habuka" with the goofballs..22 yrs old already..dun need to have a big party..just a small celebration will do..dinner was alright but not really filling so we end up heading for supper at havelock rd's teochew porridge..

the weekend is coming to a close..monday blues is already starting to set in..this weekend have been quite healthy i must say..wakeboarding on sat and soccer under the torturing hot sun in the afternoon today..feeling quite tired and burnt now..can feel the whole body starting to ache..

just finish the euro semi-final between russia and spain..spain won 3-0! woo..later will be sending my dad to the airport before heading to work at changi..this is the last day of the 3 day course in changi..and finally is friday! tink course today will end ard noon..so that leave mi with the whole afternoon onwards free! weekend is near but then again still haven decide wat to do yet for the rest of the day..we will see how it goes..

will be celebrating my birthday with the goofballs tml..this yr will be celebrated in a slightly different and healthier way..wakeboarding! pretty excited coz always have been wanting to try this particular water sports but dun have the chance so taking this birthday as the platform to try..therefore will be looking forward to the experience tml..look out for the entry on wakeboarding!

fri - watched "shaolin girl" with my brother and 2 of my cousins, edward and edric..it is a stupid and lame movie..the worst movie i have watched this yr..it is really damn bad..so bad that halfway thru the movie we are already thinking of wat to eat for supper..so end up we had supper at a teochew porridge stall somewhere near zouk..teochew porridge have always been 1 of our fav food for supper..wanted to watch euro after tt but apparently it had became kinda difficult to stay awake..

sat - movie again at lido..this time was there to watch "missing" with her and her cousin..first time meeting them and i must say i have a very good impression of her even though she was quite shy..early dinner at sakae before the movie..the food there no longer taste as nice as last time..in the end all of us didn't finish the food that we order..either too salty or just simply doesn't taste nice but the experience is still not that bad..sometimes is not the food that counts..is the ppl that u go with that really matters..

the theater that we went to was very old..it give mi the feeling that it was there even before i was born..the seats there is also very classic..when u sit down..the seat will move when u lean back..dunno is it design to be like this or because it is too old that on the verge of breaking down it start to have such an "effect"..the movie was kinda draggy though..lasted for a full 2 hours..suppose to be a horror thriller but i tink is more of a sad love story..

been a long time since i last blog..too busy i guess..

just back from 2 hours soccer session at fico..end up having blisters again while wearing my boots..guess my leg still not used to it and kept getting "bitten" by my boots..

this whole of last week and this week have been busy having course..dread it man..sat been out shopping with kh at town but got no returns..in the end met up with jun at night to have a drink at demsey hill and teochew porridge for supper at somewhere near zouk..

sun - went to it fair with eric & calvin..damn packed..quite fruitful though..everyone of us got something..i got a ipod speaker dock for $299 and together it comes with a free earphone worth $189..good deal uh..actually this offer was onli for the first 10 customers..and i was the 11th..but the salegirl was so nice to persuade the boss to give mi this offer..lucky mi! finally got the pair of surfshorts tt i have been looking for..spent a bomb in just 1 day..time to save up!!

will be there at the airport to send them off tml morning before going to work..talking abt work..this few days have been on course at paya labar..which is damn far from my house..travelling time alone takes abt 3 hours to and fro..the course is abt some enterprise system to be used back at work which i personally think is too complicated..was lost alot of time throughout the course..definitely make mi feel slpy..was fighting the zZzz monster most of the time..6 more days of course left!! endure..

my relatives from england came over for a visit..my aunt, 2 cousins and 1 cousin-in-law..my aunt is a chinese who migrated to england and gave birth to 2 female cousin who look like british..and my cousin married a south african! therefore my cousin-in-law is a south african..by the name of stephen..cool huh..haha..complicated and messy family tree..

was on leave on monday so decide to bring steven to play soccer at the cage from 2pm-6pm!! long workout..i was wearing a new boots tt my bro bought give mi as a early birthday present..a red mercurial vapor!! woohoo..but at the end of the whole soccer session..i had 2 blisters each at the back of both my ankle =x

after the soccer session we went to watch the world cup qualifier at the national stadium where our national team lost 3-7..total thrashing..stephen even ask mi "r u sure this is ur national team?" haha..

supper was next on the card and we went to geylang for seafood..steven likes seafood alot so in the end we had drunken prawns, chilli crab, fried fish, chicken, braised pork and vegetables..haha..quite a heavy supper for the 6 of us..in total the bill cost ard 160 bucks..stephen says tt is super cheap..coz if it is in london..it could cost ard 200 pound..which is ard 600 bucks!!

end up spending the whole day ytd at home recuperating to prepare for work today..just got the news tt i will be on course for the next 2 weeks..and is at paya labar..damn farr..good luck to mi..

today at work i was hit with 2 big news..first, my officer have reject my proposal for mi to work day shift for 3 yrs to pursue my part time degree..for those of u who dunno..currently i'm working on shifts, 1 week day shift the following week will be night shift..so based on my current working hours..it is very difficult for mi to study as i have to take leave on night shift to attend my lessons..

i took a long time to make this decision to study part-time coz at the same time, i may have to go over to america next yr for a 2-yr job stint but my status is still unclear..and after asking advice from my family and frens..i have made the decision to forgo the chance of a 2-yr overseas job experience to study part time here..

i decide to call and ask abt my status to go states next yr..coz i was thinking if my status still remain unclear..i will give the chance to other ppl who need it more than mi coz there is alot of ppl vying for this chance..here come the 2nd big news..i was told i had been selected to go over to america in nov 2009! going for 2 yrs..and at the same time means i cannot further my studies..at least not before 2011..wow..2011!!

at that moment..i felt very lost..i didn't know whether i was happy or sad..haha..sound weird right but it's true..i believe i should be feeling very happy coz i got the chance to go over to america for a once-in-a-lifetime experience..but then again maybe coz just when i feel more like studying..i was told i have to go overseas..talking abt wrong things at the wrong time..or maybe this thing haven really sink into mi yet..in a few days time i will know..

finally is sat!! woke up not long ago..still feeling the effect from the drinking last night..i was working night shift last night til ard 11pm..jason, vincent & mi decide to go out after work to chill out so we head down to boat quay..

it had been ages since we last went down to boat quay..haha..went to look for rei..damn long didn't see her le..haha..was there to pass her the caps she ask mi to buy for her in taiwan..was glad tt she like it coz she ask mi to help her choose the caps there..saying she trust my taste..haha..but proven my taste actually still not bad =p

after boat quay..i went with vincent and ah ban to orchard plaza..they say go to 1 canto live band disco call "nine seven" when i first step into there..i was abit stun..haha..coz is the first time i go such places and the band is singing all those canto songs tt doesn't belong to my generation de..haha..but nevertheless it was quite a experience..haha..the vocals of the band is very good though i dun really understand wat they are singing..haha..in the end i onli reach home like 7am in the morning..

glory glory man united!! the new champions league holder and league champion!!

the match was definitely an exhilarating and heart pumping game..edge of the seats stuff!! u should see the faces on all the man u fans throughout the whole game including mine..our emotions went thru a rollercoaster ride..from pure joy when the first goal was score by ronaldo..to by total quietness when chelsea equalised..then anxiety when ronaldo miss his penalty shootout and pure joy when man u finally won the cup!!

the feeling is something words cannot describe and only being there will u really understand everything..learn alot of interesting songs from the diehard man u fans today..shall not say anything here coz is kinda sensitive if u r not a man u fan..

after all this excitement..time to catch some slp and prepare for work later..

the champions league final between manchester united and chelsea will start tonight!! looking forward towards this game of the season and definitely looking forward to seeing man u lifting the much coveted trophy!

will be starting work later at 4pm..hopefully today will be a uneventful day so will be able to leave earlier and make it in time for the match..crab shack (man u supporter's hangout area) or ponggol marina will be the likely venue for mi and few of my colleagues to watch this game..game on!!

Day 1 - Arriving at taiwan, taipei train station, hwansi nightmarket

finally arriving at taiwan..an adventure beckon!

Day 2 - Taipei 101, Warner Village, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, Wu Fen Pu, Luxy

After visiting the tallest building in the world, we move on to "wu fen pu"..this is where clothes are sold at warehouse price and there is where we start our shopping spree..good deals can be found everywhere..

1st clubbing stint in taiwan at "LUXY"..the atmosphere there is totally different from the club in singapore..they have events every hourly..1st hour: luxy girls doing their move on stage, 2nd hour: bartender showing their stuff and free shots for everyone there, 3rd hour: dancing competition..a totally new experience!

Day 3 - Beitou, Dan Shui, Miramar Entertainment Park, Shilin nightmarket

we came to a common conclusion tt this is the worse food we tasted in taiwan

after the ride, we headed down to the much anticipated shilin nightmarket, where all the good food come together! once there..the hunt for good food begins..there were identical stalls selling similar things..so how do you know which is nice? easy..by seeing which stall have queues and just join the queue..we were so engrossed and busy with eating tt we didn't even wanna take pics of all the famous food there!

Day 4 - Hualian

waking up at 6am to catch the 3 hours long train to hualian..by the time we reach there is around 10 plus..our tour guide brought us to a famous dumpling soup shop..where taiwan's president visited before..we found our tour guide through recommendation on the internet and he only charged $90 bucks for 1 whole day..may sound expensive but it is very worth it!

Day 5 - Ding Tai Feng, C.K.S memorial hall and Club W

ding tai feng was our destination for our first meal of the day after waking up late..this particular ding tai feng is the main and first branch and is located like 1km walk away from the nearest train station..good food definitely deserves a bit of effort therefore we begin our long walk..luckily for us, the weather there is windy and not like singapore so hot and humid!

from far, we could see quite a big crowd and this is the scene tt greet us when we reach!

i must comment on the service there..it is definitely first-class! something tt will nv be experienced in singapore..really..and the ding tai feng there taste so much better than in singapore..if u tink singapore branch is nice..can u imagine the real quality of the food served there? heavenly is the only description!

after that..we were craving for dessert and starting looking for this highly-rated dessert shop which is quite near ding tai feng

At night, it was time for our 2nd clubbing stint in taiwan..this time was at "club w". the entry is around $20 and it's drink all u can! wow..that was something we didn't expect..imagine this happening at zouk and u will see alot of ppl lying on the floor outside dead drunk! haha..furthermore it was bikini party..taiwanese girls turning out in bikini top..be it slim or fat..and there was this dancing competition for girls..

all they have to do is pour water on themselves, dance and win over the crowd and the winner will walk away with ard $500..wat we didn't expect was the girls really do everything to win..including turning to the back to take off their bikini top and dance only covering with their hands..really a eye-opener..

what surprise us was the culture they have..they will queue up to get their drinks and not crowd all over the bar and though is a drink all you can thing..u dun see anyone getting drunk or vommiting..talk about self-discipline..

the only one who was drunk and vomitted was our good fren, wai kit..haha..singaporean..

Day 6 - Ximending Shopping and Modern Toilet Dining Experience

The visit to the modern toilet restaurant was the highlight of the day..enough of shopping in the morning..we decide to have our lunch at this unique restaurant..it was very popular coz we have to come back like 1 hour later..in the meantime while waiting, we managed to catch a mini concert just somewhere near the restaurant

visited shilin nightmarket once again..this time we went earlier so there is more shops open and more things to eat! keep shopping and eating non-stop..we visit the mango ice shop again and we r very sure that it taste so much nicer than the "ice-monster" that is so highly recommended.

we decide to try out the ktv there in taiwan after our initial plan of watching the final game of man u match failed..in taiwan, soccer is like not popular at all..main sports being baseball and basketball..there is this taiwanese guy currently playing the New York Yankees and he is so famous that everywhere u can find his stuff!

the ktv session at "holiday ktv" from 1am to 5am have been great and cheap! paying $16 for 5 hours of ktv which includes buffet..and their sound system there is so much better than singapore with each room having a personal toilet!

Day 7..guess guess guess..

we arrived at the venue of recording for GUESS GUESS GUESS episode #599..

the cab driver bought us to the wrong recording station..but nevertheless still got the time for some fun first..

teppanyaki for dinner at tonghua nightmarket..cheap and good! quite quiet there for a nightmarket..guess coz is not as popular as the rest of the nightmarket in taipei..return to hotel quite early to start packing up..spent damn long trying to squeeze everything into the luggage..bought too many things..haha

The whole trip have been fun..so much fun that all of us were reluctant to come back..the weather is great, the service there is exceptional, culture there is excellent and last of all the food there is outstanding!! definitely worth going there again..

calculating the damages back home, i realised the whole trip i spent ard 1.5-1.6k..minus away airfare, accommodation and food expenses, the rest of the money is spent on like 6 tees, 4 polo tees, 1 shirt, 3 berms, 4 accessories, 1 slippers..haha..enough shopping for the time being i guess..looking forward to the next trip abroad!

breaking my leg..

i fracture my leg for the first time in my life on the 3rd day of CNY..talking abt unlucky..the bone near my ankle have chipped off..and how do i got this horrid injury? while playing soccer..haha..nv injure my leg before in my entire playing career til now..

it was definitely a torturous experience..having to move ard with my crutches and the cast tt was so heavy..and having to stay at home like almost a month for someone like mi who always go out so often..the worse period of each day will be bathing time..imagine bathing with the stupid cast and ensuring that it is not wet..painful experience!

so during this immobilised period, i managed to finish the whole prison break season 1, 2 and 3 in 3 days! and at the same time met this very cute girl online thru viwawa, a online game which is designed for bored ppl..this girl i will not reveal coz she is too shy but she will know tt i'm referring to her when she happen to read this =p

it have been ard 2 months since the freak accident..throughout this whole ordeal, i dun feel any pain at all which is quite weird to begin with for a broken bone..this may sound freakly but the chipped off bone is still somewhere in my leg..the specialist say "since u dun feel any pain..then can leave it inside..no point operating" haha..so i listened to him..now i'm already back playing soccer..dun feel any pain at all but still having the mental barrier now and then when challenging for the ball..i tink this will take some time before it is gone..hopefully it is soon...

welcome to my mercurial world!!

spend quite a substantial amount of time to get this blog up and running..first of all this is the first time i'm putting in serious effort to get this blog done..being the first time, it definitely take mi alot of time as i need to figure out how this whole blog thingy works. abit behind time for something tt have been in the market for so long..but nevertheless..is better late than never!

i have just return from a holiday trip to taiwan and i'm still getting used back to the life in singapore..will be posting a entry soon on the whole taiwan trip..watch out for it!
